While in Melbourne I recorded a conversation (about art and science, natch)  for the University of Melbourne’s Up Close podcast. It’s done in a professional quality sound studio and the research process the team undertook in the run-up was world-class. Thanks to their structure it ended up as a thoughtful and discursive enquiry into interdisciplinarity with examples from ancient Greek, renaissance and modern culture. It’s a very strong example of the kind of craft and production values that a university can nurture and there’s much for the rest of us to learn.
